My Personal Experience With Experiment Deck
For my first build, I went with a theme I thought would sell better to parents: kitchen science. It's cheap to do at home, needs no special equipment, and works well for a rainy weekend. Here's one entry exactly as it went into the book after a light edit, so you can judge the writing level for yourself:

Most entries came out at about that level, and it's close to what I'd write myself for a 7-year-old. The age setting mattered: before I set the age to 6 to 9, the first explanations used words like "carbon dioxide nucleation," which is fine for a science teacher and too much for a first grader.
The visuals took the most time. The cover and 32 spread prompts all ran in ChatGPT without trouble, but my cartoon kid scientist looked a little different from spread to spread. I regenerated seven pages before the character was consistent enough for a paying customer.
